Recognising Women in Sport

Women in sport is one of the key themes of the Gender Matters - 3^rd Women on Boards Conference. To be held at Sheraton on the Park in Sydney from 27-29 April 2011, Know The Game is pleased to have accepted their invitation to be included in the Sports Sector Showcase. This panel session will focus on:

Sport dominates the Australian culture, yet our female sports stars battle hard for recognition and dollars. Is it a cultural thing and can it change? What might we do to turn around the perception and value of women’s participation in sport in Australia?
