The AFL recognises that Australian Football has the capacity to bring people together from diverse cultural backgrounds. With this in mind the Multicultural Program was developed to introduce young people from targeted culturally and linguistically diverse communities to Australian Football, and to influence mainstream Australian Football clubs to embrace multicultural diversity as part of their ongoing operations.

  • Sporting Chance

    Sporting Chance Logo

The Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation committed to providing financial support to aid projects that make life easier for children with cancer. The SCCF was formed in 1998 by former Australian Cricket Captain Mark Taylor, Rugby League legend Reg Gasnier, Olympian Raelene Boyle and Triple Brownlow Medallist Bob Skilton. The Patrons of SCCF have been joined more recently by Racing Commentator Ken Callander and Rugby Union great Stirling Mortlock.

To show your support for the activities of SCCF and give children with cancer a sporting chance, we encourage you to make a donation.

On 9 March 2012, a group of racing and sporting identities will undertake a 40km walk between our major Melbourne Racecourses for 4tracks4kids, a Melbourne Charity Fundraiser. The public can join the walk at Caulfield at 7am, Federation Square at 10am or Moonee Valley at 11.20am. SCCF is one of two charities being supported by this event. Make a donation, sponsor a walker or join in the walk on the day.

  • Climate Positive

    Climate Positive Logo

Climate Positive is a not-for-profit organisation working with businesses and households for real and long-term global warming solutions. As their name suggests, Climate Positive partners with best practice organisations to go beyond being carbon neutral. Climate Positive invests in accredited offset projects with a focus on infrastructure and renewable energy to offset emissions to carbon neutral and restores ecologically diverse permanently protected high-carbon-yield forests on cleared land to enable their partnering clients to become 'climate positive' and deal with historical carbon debt.

Know The Game is pleased to partner with Climate Positive to monitor our environmental impact, implement strategies to continue to reduce our carbon footprint and, where possible, eliminate emissions. In 2010, Know The Game became 'climate positive'. Consider your carbon footprint by calculating your impact on our environment.
